Pro Watercraft releases NEW rear sponsons for SXR 1500

The SXR 1500 four stroke stand up is notorious for being big. It’s size makes it a little more uncomfortable than some of the previous models of PWC before it. In an effort to create a cost-effective handling boost — we’ve come out with a new HFC rear sponson for the Kawasaki SXR 1500.

Our new SXR 1500 rear sponson is made from our Hybrid Flex Composite (HFC) and was created to fill the gap between the stock sponson and the sometimes expensive metal rear sponsons on the market.

This sponson was designed with the cost-effective budget in mind. It is roughly the same size as the OEM sponson, and uses the original OEM hardware an mounting holes. The HFC material and smaller size makes it easy on the budget, while still delivering exceptional performance.

In terms of performance, these sponsons make a major contribution to the overall handling of the ski.

While some rear sponsons on the market mainly affect the rear grip, our HFC rear sponson for the SXR 1500 helps increase grip while also improving the overall stability of the ski. You will see an improvement of stability not only in turns, but also in a straight line.

For those of you trying to decide between our double-blade rear sponsons or the new rear sponsons for the SXR 1500, the primary difference are the conditions you’ll be riding in. The double-blade is meant to be more of a carving sponson, while our new rear sponsons are designed for all-around conditions.

For a limited time, these rear sponsons will be available at $199 as a part of our pre-sale.
