We are extremely proud to announce the unveiling of the PWC monument in Lake Havasu City, AZ.
Thanks to the help and contributions of PWC enthusiasts from around the world, we were able to build a monument that encapsulates the history and legacy of PWC in Lake Havasu City and the surrounding area.
The monument can be found at the intersection of McCulloch Blvd N and Beachcomber Blvd, nestled between two historic race sites — the Nautical and Crazy Horse Campground. It stands tall — over 8 feet — and is complimented by a scoring tower informational marquee.
After years of brainstorming and work, we are very happy to have unveiled this during the 39th annual IJSBA World Finals. This monument is a testament to the legacy of the sport, and is a stepping stone to securing Lake Havasu City as the PWC capital of the world.
Special thanks to our top contributors: Pro Watercraft, Jaque Meng, Brian Garitee, Ryan Ellefson, Christy Carlson-Swaid, Dustin Farthing, Lake Havasu Partners for Economic Development, Nicholas Janes, Steve Hotchkiss, Monte Hughes, William Moothart, Larry Rippenkroeger, Riva Racing, Glen & Becky Powell, The Rad Dudes, Run Whatcha Brung, Chris Hagest, Anna Glennon, Go Lake Havasu and Mayor Cal Sheehy.
