• How does a heavier intake grate improve hookup?
  The weight drives more water into the pump tunnel for more hookup in the straights, and especially the corners. The increased weight also adds weight down low for better stability.
• Will my ski accept a heavier intake grate?
  Yes but understand that many older skis may have thread inserts which may become ripped out. This is a big problem even with the stock intake grate as your ski ages.
• Is this intake grate legal for racing?
  Our RB300 intake grate is legal for racing. However, do your own research for the specifics in your class(es).
